John Bowes is an Authority in real estate and business in every sense. He has developed a wealth of education and experience in real estate, finance, contracts, business, and advanced negotiations. His experience in Real Estate started 2 decades ago as a licensed real estate appraiser where he honed the art and science of property valuations. John next moved to the specialized field of investment property acquisitions/divestiture including; strategic purchase negotiations, managing high end renovations, marketing, and contract to divestiture techniques to deliver optimal results. To add to the real estate experience, John’s prior business experience was gained from various positions at a fortune 1000 tech company. These positions included Director of Procurement, Regional Manager of a $48M service business unit, and an Area Manager for a $52M implementation unit. This real estate knowledge coupled with a high-level business background has led John to become an expert in the Miami real estate market and the go-to Realtor for the past 6 years
One of the best assets he gained along this life journey was a combination of street smarts, a strong work ethic, and with time, excellent formal education. Being raised by a single mother of 2 on a meager waitress’ income, the family financial trouble hit rock bottom and at the age of 16, John had to leave school and begin work full time. He learned early-on to work hard, be committed, and return to school by any means possible. John therefore devoted daytime to work and nights and weekends to return to school and study. Over time, he earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Miami majoring in Finance with a minor in MIS. He next moved to Boston for a position with a fortune 1000 Tech company and while in Boston, he again returned to school and earned a Masters Degree from Harvard, Extension Studies in Management. Dedication and a strong work ethic drove John to earn these degrees while working full time.
